A great read my friend. Thing is though regrets can fade. I was once offered a job in The City as a trader in my early twenties. I was actually working as a waiter in a restaurant at the time, and seeing me manage 30 tables on my own, this exec offered me a job on the spot. I took it, but a week before my training started I decided against it, on principle. I then fell into financial hardship, I made some bad decisions, and I regretted the decision not to go to the city (London). Now, over 25 years later, I don't at all. It was the best thing for me as my addictive tendencies in that culture would have probably destroyed me, and I wouldn't be working on a farm in sunny Normandy today.
Thanks.
