Bon travail! Great piece. But seriously, comedy is very hard these days. You've got to tread so carefully that it's kind of destroys the fun. You don't want to insult people, but skilful comedy in front of a patient and intelligent audience (that's hard), doesn't mean it has to be insulting. It's just entertainment.
