Brilliant article. And you're right. We long for the past to make us feel better, partly because we know the past is irritrivable. It's locked, therefore safe. But, somethings were better. I was alive when we used film cameras, so you thought of your photo before you took it. When we had one land line phone. Friends were friends because you saw them in person. Things change but some things aren't better.
