Brilliant idea and I'm glad they've done it. My friend's wife is also deaf in one ear. I never realised why she always drove when he was in the car (not that she shouldn't, but you know the male obsession with driving!). So it turned out, she was deaf in one ear, and so had to drive otherwise they could never really talk, especially if they had the radio on.
