By a strange coincidence, I was offered a place at Warwick to study Biology. I turned it down and went to Nottingham. It was the best decision I've made. I would have hated Warwick – too much like school, stuck out in the middle of 'nowhere'. My father couldn't understand it - "but it's a better university."

I didn't do that well at Notts as I got wasted all the time - but at least I had fun!!
