Christ! Where have you been! I could have written that story about two months ago. The same thing happened to me. I was lazing about drinking wine and eating cheese one evening—I live in France so I'm allowed—when a killer idea came to me.

'God, this is good,' I said to my wife.

I grabbed my phone, whacked on the Medium App, and proceeded to type. Only I didn't. And went into a rage!

'Why don't you write on that notebook I bought you for Xmas!'

'A notebook! It's too late. The idea's gone.

Thanks Medium, you cost me $4.76 on the idea that never was.'
