Don’t Send Me Another Meeting Invite — Ever!

I’ve almost finished for the day, when I get an MS Teams invite.

— Office Manager Farewell Huddle. 5-6 p.m.

In the past, we would all pile down the pub to give whoever was leaving a good send-off. End up screaming and ranting about our stupid bosses until the bar ran out of Sambuca at four o’clock in the morning.

Not anymore. Now we’ve got to wave goodbye to the poor bastard via Zoom. Or was it Teams. Or Web-Ex. Does it matter?

It’s the eighth online meeting I’ve had this week, and I’m pretty sick of it.
