Excellent. I'm there. I know the area and those old farmhouses well. I've looked after a fair few, and the only ones that get looked after is if they are resaleble - ie near big cities. The place I am now in Normandy when I moved here was full of character. The owner sold it to a guy from Paris who kept me on as the caretaker in a cottage (still here), and totally gutted the main house. €400,000 it's the cost to renovate. Now it looks like a Novatel inside. Oh well, my cottage is still the same from a hundred years ago!
