Good points. I agree, not everywhere outside Europe is cheap - far from it. But Medium knows there are plenty of other writers out there, wherever they are.

I know people who work for Cambly. Someone said they pay about €7 an hour. I don't know it's that true but I was paid €8 an hour in 1999 for teaching.
