Great piece. But I think the UK has the lead on this. Stroud has a place called the Long Table where you can eat at a long table with everyone else. There's a set time and set menu, and all the food is from discarded produce. According to my mate, this is happening all over now. So maybe Europe should take note. Haven't seen this in France.
