I guessed your selection before I read it. My favourite is red dwarf, series five and six are good too. I've watched every episode so many times I could rewrite it from scratch if it was erased. It works because nothing had ever been done like this. Comedy in space. Genius!! And the perfect cast. Barry and Charles were the opposite of each in real life, which was why I think it worked so well.
