I just ran one of the most famous headlines in history "Titanic Sinks Four Hours After Hitting Iceberg!" through Capitalise My Title and it gained a score of 55. My most recent headline, which I admit was a bit weak got "What Have I Got To Do With Mitochondrial Eve?" got 59.

A good headline is important of course. But spending hours rejigged headlines is a waste of time. If you can write a story, you should be able to pick a good headline. Trust your instinct, throw away the algorithm. I've worked in magazine journalism in the UK, and honesty I barely had time to write the piece. The headline had to be good as well but I didn't have time to faff around analysing it. True, the editor can help with this, and most editors on Medium never suggest changes to headlines, which is silly.
