I remember it, but my French colleague Fabrice only vaguely remembers it, and we're the same age. Here in the French countryside, almost no one would think, oh it's 9/11 today. Which makes sense. It's not the USA. They remember their own terrorist stuff, like folk in the UK and Ireland remembers theirs. Enniskillen, Manchester bombs, etc.
