I'm not sure how valid this is, but I've heard it enough times that in France the push to increase the birthrate in the 1970s , especially in middle class (white) females, was a direct response to immigration, and the fact that immigrant families as a rule have more children. The fear was that France would suffer The Great Replacement you talk about.
