Regards Apps for writing: I think they are the problem. People rely on them, just like spell checkers, meaning they don’t actually understand the rules. If you learn the rules, you don’t need Apps, and you’ll write better, I assure you. Hemingway didn’t have an App. Not F. Scott. Period.
