Oh my friend, you are very right. There was Buddhism, and probably loads of religions; I meant there was only Judaism in that part of the world at the time of the Romans.

I never knew Jesus was a Jew when I was growing up. We were told he was a Christian. Probably by the same teacher who told us about the coin.
