Sadly, I've never been. Although I have lived in Caracas. I haven't been to dar either. But it's weird as I was reading a book recently about the first world war in East Africa. It was called German East Africa then, now Tanzania. Germany and Britain were fighting there. Not sure it's relevent to your piece. But interesting all the same. As I never knew.
