Thanks for your thoughts. To try to dissect my writing would be interesting. Personally, I think I wrote better about 15 years ago, when I just wrote for the hell of it. As soon as I tried to get a bit more serious, I overthought everything.

Some of my early pieces and stories, while sometimes not that well written, have a zany quality about them that I can't find at the moment.

I think the hardest thing about writing is keeping pure, whether you're a novice or a best-selling author.
