The UK is a hole now. Not as in a derogatory hole but a gaping hole. Everything is for sale and everything goes. And yet the one last bastion of socialist and state intervention is sacred. The NHS is deemed untouchable even if vast parts of it is run by private companies. And even if many people now opt for private care. Shipyards and Utiliites can be bought and sold, whatever!, but the funding of the NHS still comes from the taxpayer and the state. Which if there is one thing that could be half privatized, it is the NHS to make it better. Like in France, if you can't pay you don't pay, if you can you pay a insurance and the state picks up 70%. But NOOO!! WAY!!! Hands off the NHS! Shipyards....fine!
