This is such a good piece. It's crazy, isn't it? I assumed Record companies would be queuing up. I grew up in the 80s and The Smiths were massive. Massive. Everyone listened to them. I did. Still do.

- On diversity. Well, it's a scam. It looks good for companies, but we're less diverse now by a long shot. And yet we pretend we are. An Asian kid might not get called a P*** any more (as they did where I grew up in Leeds) but an Asian kid is hardly going to be Prime Minister is he....oh hang on....so the Asian kid does make it (well done, truly) and then what does he do? Behaves like all the other idiots before him.
