Very moving piece, and I often wonder why people visit memorials as tourist destinations. Personally, and this is my opinion, I'm not really sure why people are there unless they have some connection. And as for selfie sticks, well, that's just disrespectful. Perhaps should grow up a bit and not put all their lives on social media!
