When I was a kid in the 1970s, my parents used to have dinner parties. They had prawn cocktail a lot because it was the in thing along with egg mayonnaise. I hated egg mayonnaise, but loved prawn cocktail. But because I was young, I wasn't invited to the dinner parties, and had to eat beans on toast instead.

I always said, when I'm older I'm going to eat prawn cocktail every day.....

.....fast forward 40 years, and you know what, I can't ever remember eating prawn cocktail as an adult. Maybe once, possibly twice.
