Why are you so good at distilling the basics. Maybe because you're a teacher, maybe you're white, maybe because you're a writer. But whatever, you get it, and tell it how it is. That's rare. I'm a dreamer who's always struggled to write down what's in my head. I can write, but imagine if I could write exactly what's in my head, unfiltered by grammar and conscious of what others or myself might think. That's the rub. The hard part. For any writer. Thanks.
