Yeah, that was a particularly poor harvest. Old trees. That was actually an old blog from about five years ago. It was way down South near Cahors. I now live in Normandy and there are no Walnut, but loads of birch and maple. Although I haven't actually done it here. Down the store here they sell great: Sirop d'Erable - Le Québécois. Why bother faffing around....?
